Waterlogged August is currently seeking audio readings. Poets, writers, essayists: record yourself reading your work in short (no longer than eight minutes) clips and send them to Waterloggedaugust@gmail.com. Send files in mp3 format (zip files are fine) for consideration. Please be sure to speak clearly, and make sure your audio does not have too much white noise -- in other words, make sure your recording is clear enough to be understood.

See the AUDIO section of the website for examples from poet Marshall Dury.

Waterlogged August is also interested in interviews, essays, prose, paintings, video, etc. Be creative and send us something that will blow our minds!

Photographers: Where are you??? We have been getting a lot of writing submissions lately, which is great. Keep them coming. But we are lacking submissions from photographers, so spread the word that we are looking for photograph/artwork submissions.

As most of you know, Waterlogged August Magazine is a fairly new magazine, and we are solely online at the moment. But we would like to make a print magazine in the future, and so we need your help. Click the DONATE button on the home page and give what you can so we can all hold our own copy of Waterlogged August Magazine in print.
